Lazy Sunday was initially a Saturday Night Live skit that involves a comedy duo rapping about going to see a showing of the Chronicles of Narnia. The video was my first YouTube video, after the video aired in December 2005, YouTube.com saw an increase in 83% in visits (Time). This is why I call this video YouTube.com's big bang.

Wow! This is a very interesting subject, I hope you keep writing in this as I would like to see how this phenomenon occurred.
I think you should talk about how Panic! at the disco became overnight celebrities because of youtube because they debuted their single "I write sins, not tragedies" around January 06 which is in the same time frame as what you're talking about with Lazy Sunday.
